Angle Unit
At Key-Key Door, the angle unit is one of our most popular products. An angle unit is a door that is hung up on a "slip-in" frame that is undersized by 1/8" of the existing frame. Angle iron frames are fabricated from three sections of 10-gauge steel flats, which are then bent into L-shaped angles. These sections are mitered and welded together to form a jamb. This angle frame slides into rabbit of the existing frame. A contractor can now easily install this unit and attach it to the existing frame without removing the old one. They will not have to measure every single hinge and lock location. All that is necessary is the width and height and we will deduct accordingly. This will be tremendous savings in both time and money.
We stock finished apartment angle units with brass hardware that fit into frames for the following sizes:
- 32" x 82", 83" and 84"
- 34" x 82", 83" and 83"
In addition, we have door slabs in the warehouse that we can modify in height and hardware preps:
- 30" x 80" and 84"
- 32" x 80" and 84"
- 34" x 80" and 84"
- 36" x 80" and 84"
